Bruce Kantor, founder of Certified Gear Head has had a rabid interest in automobiles since he was age three.  As a toddler he had an imaginary friend, an adult, who with Bruce had an imaginary business selling school buses.

His interest in cars has dogged him from childhood to being a grandfather. Unfortunately he was unable to keep all the cars owned except for the memories. The cars include a 1949 Dodge Coronet, (2) 1955 Studebaker Speedsters – one driven in high school. A 1959 Pontiac Catalina convertible-tri power and 10 miles to a gallon, a 1961 Impala bubble top, VW Super Beetle, 3 Datsun 280 Z’s and the list goes on. Mitsubshi 3000 GT, Dodge Stealth turbo, 4 Mazda Miatas and more.

Current cars of interest are a 1928 Dodge Sedan undergoing restoration for the second time in 53 years and a 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk – almost entirely stock.

Bruce’s company is designed to allow Gear Heads everywhere to show their passion for cars, be they old or new as well as bikes and whatever else makes noise and spew noxious wonderful smelling fumes into the air. May all of us Gear Heads inspire other Gear Heads to come.
